Laser Hair Removal is a simple process. Once Sōna tests your skin and sets our lasers accordingly, your Treatment Provider will prepare the treatment area with a coating of cool gel. The laser handset will then be passed over the treatment area. The laser light will pass harmlessly through your skin and be attracted to and absorbed by the melanin (pigment) in the hair follicles. Weeks later, many clients experience a period of hair fall-out. After the second or third treatment, clients will notice that after fall-out, the hair that grows back will be finer and sparser. This is because re-growth has been disabled in the follicles in the treatment area that were in the Active Growth Phase at the time of treatment. Your subsequent treatments will be scheduled to target the remaining follicles during their Active Growth Phases.
