Dermawave

What is a Dermawave machine?
A Dermawave Machine is a No Needle Mesotherapy Treatment System that uses specially designed pulses of electrical energy to relieve the congested tissue.

How Does the Dermawave treatment work?
The treatment is based on a new patented technique called Aquaphoresis™, which uses specialized electrical waveforms to help reactivate specific physiological processes in tissue that contribute to the formation of cellulite. These include microcirculation, lymph drainage and enhanced blood flow. When used in combination with specially formulated gels, the system utilizes the aquaporin water channel to deliver lipolytic ingredients to fat cells.

How many visiting do I need and how long do the treatments take?
Each treatment session lasts about 30 minutes and you will need to complete a series of 8-10 sessions to achieve results. Typical benefits are seen after 5 or 6 visits, although results obviously depend on the severity of the cellulite condition.

Is there any downtime?
Aquaphoresis is very patient-friendly, and no discomfort is felt during the treatment session. The parameters used in Aquaphoresis are adjustable to suit each patient, and treatment intensity may be customized to eliminate any discomfort. After each session, patients return to normal activity with no downtime. In the first part of the treatment series, several visits are scheduled close together to enable the best chance of a successful result.
