I’m Beth Storey, Clinical Director for Sona Houston. Born and raised in Louisiana, I moved to Houston about 4 years ago.

I’m Beth Storey (RN, BSN, MEP-c), Clinical Director for Sona Houston. Born and raised in Louisiana, I moved to Houston about 4 years ago. I currently live in Sienna Plantation with my fiancée, Jimmy, and our three beautiful four-legged children; Lattie, Caillou, and Leopold.

I obtained my bachelor’s degrees from LSU (GEAUX TIGERS) in both psychology and forensic anthropology with a minor in criminal justice. I began the anthropology master’s degree program at LSU to pursue a career in human remains identification….well, at the knowledgeable age of 20 I decided I had enough education and left the master’s program. I joined the family of  All Pet’s Hospital, a veterinary clinic, and soon became the office manager.

Animals are a huge part of my life and my 4 years there were so rewarding. In 2003 I moved to Houston rather abruptly when my best friend of 8 years was injured in a motorcycle accident. After spending so much time in the hospital while he recovered, I decided that helping people heal may be just as rewarding as helping animals. So it was back to school again and I obtained another bachelor’s degree…this time in nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center here in Houston.

I began my nursing career at The Methodist Hospital DeBakey Heart Center Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. As one can imagine the ICU life wears on you quickly. I began to search for an outlet for my healing nature in an environment that was a little more on the hopeful and happy side of patient care.

That is how I found Sona MedSpa!

One of the best decisions of my life was coming on full-time here at Sona. I have truly found my niche in the world of medical aesthetics. I love enriching the lives of clients and helping them feel their best. I am grateful everyday that I can touch someone’s life and help build precious self-esteem. The field of medical aesthetics is a challenge for any professional but I love the technology and the constant gain of knowledge through research. There are so many new and exciting things being discovered each day in this field. Sona is setting an unbeatable standard in customer service and cutting-edge treatments in Houston and I am so proud to be a part of this family!

My career with Sona has added a sense of completeness to my life. I believe that you must fully believe in and love what you do… and that is a feeling inside that radiates to those around you. I hope you all will stop in and see what our family can do for you.
