Pixel 2940 Er: YAG Laser technology
How does the amazing Pixel work?
The Pixel laser emits very thin beams of infrared light that stimulates the body’s collagen production and new, healthy skin cells. Approximately 20% of the skin is treated while the surrounding tissue is left intact. Because the surrounding skin is left untouched, healing time is minimal (approximately 4 to 5 days). This means that you can enjoy the benefit of your skin resurfacing results within a few days only.
What is the Pixel technology commonly used for?
The Pixel removes sun damage, fine lines, wrinkles and uneven pigmentation or scarring while boosting the skin’s natural collagen production to renew its firmness and tone. Pixel treatments are typically are administered 2 to 4 weeks apart for 3 to 6 treatments. Your final skin resurfacing results will continue to improve for three to six months after your last treatment as your skin continues to produce new collagen.
For lines and wrinkles caused by expression, Botox and dermal fillers also may be recommended. (fillers need to be spaced at least two weeks away from pixel laser treatment).
