Everyone is different! Most clients feel a warm, tingling sensation with the laser. Some clients may experience some mild redness and a feeling of firmness immediately following their treatment. After the treatment is complete, your licensed professional will apply soothing skin care products.

Microdermabrasion is an intense exfoliation and cleansing of the skin. This process increases cell turnover which results in fresh glowing skin. It prepares the skin and enhances the penetration of skin care products into deeper layers of the skin. 
There is no discomfort with the ultrasound treatments. Our ultrasound treatments are actually more like the icing on the cake! These treatments follow all our microderm and AFT treatments to both relax, soothe and rehydrate the skin. It is the portion of the treatment experience most clients enjoy best! 
The ultrasound treatment heats and heals the tissue. Heat stimulates collagen growth which can soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The ultrasound waves penetrate our specially formulated ultrasound gel deeper into the skin where the cell functions, providing necessary nourishment that aids in repair/rejuvenation. Ultrasound waves stimulate skin activity levels, improves cellular renewal/repair, increases circulation and aids in lymph drainage. The treatment also includes electrical stimulation which enhances the beneficial effect of the ultrasound. It is referred to a mild fitness program for the face. Sōna uses Restylane®†, Perlane®† and Juvéderm™** which are FDA approved premier wrinkle fillers. Safe and long lasting methods utilizing hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance that already exists in the human body (products used are non animal). These fillers provide volume or fullness to the skin and lips. The common areas to treat are fine lines in the naso-labial folds, smile lines, drooping corners of the mouth and lips. Perlane is a thicker filler and is better used for deeper lines, while Restylane and Juvéderm are used for finer lines and lip enhancement. Learn more about Dermal Fillers. 
BOTOX Cosmetic is an FDA approved non-surgical injection that targets expression lines. It temporarily smoothes moderate to severe frown lines between the brows, forehead and around the eyes. BOTOX works by blocking signals from the nerves to the muscles. The injected muscles can no longer contract, which causes the wrinkles to relax and soften. It is most often used on forehead lines, crow's feet (lines around the eye) and frown lines. The results are apparent within several days and may last up to 4 months. However, results do vary with each individual and the severity of lines.
