Byron Ashbridge had a 22 year career with Bank of America in operational roles managing large numbers of support centers and holding the office of Senior Vice-President prior to joining Sōna in the Charlotte, NC market in March of 2003. Mr. Ashbridge expanded the franchise in North Carolina to include five Sōna MedSpa locations (three in the Charlotte market as well as Greensboro and Raleigh) during which time he partnered with Mr. Pitt in the building of the largest Sōna franchise. He was Chairman of Sōna's Franchise Advisory Council and served on the Marketing Advisory Committee. In September 2007, Mr. Ashbridge and Mr. Pitt merged their North Carolina franchise with Sōna MedSpa International. Mr. Ashbridge now holds the office of President and Co-CEO of Sōna MedSpa International, Inc. Mr. Ashbridge earned his BBA from James Madison University with a double major in Management and Marketing.
Joe Pitt joined the Sōna franchise system in the North Carolina market, partnering with Mr. Ashbridge in 2005. In the course of their partnership, Mr. Pitt and Mr. Ashbridge tripled the size of the franchise in North Carolina. In September of 2007, the North Carolina franchise of five Sōna MedSpa locations merged with Sōna MedSpa International and Mr. Pitt now holds the office of Chairman and Co-CEO. Prior to joining Sōna MedSpa, Mr. Pitt held key positions in the private equity industry with Carousel Capital and Thomas H. Lee Company. Before entering the private equity arena, Mr. Pitt worked in the Mergers and Acquisitions department of Morgan Stanley in New York and Hong Kong. Mr. Pitt holds a BSBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
